Welcome to the Dudley Arts Council web site. We are one of, if not the oldest arts council in the country, founded in 1946.

Dudley Arts Council is a registered charity, run on a voluntary basis to foster and promote the maintenance, improvement and development of artistic taste and the knowledge, understanding and appreciation of the arts, including intercultural activities across Dudley, the Black Country and the West Midlands.

We currently have over 60 members from a wide range of arts backgrounds from Choirs to Photography clubs, Artists to Operatic Societies. Members use this web site to publicise up coming events take a look at What's On to see current events in your area.

Membership of Dudley Arts Council is FREE to any arts organisation who works in or around the Dudley area. Just complete our online membership form and a member of the executive committee will get in touch.

We are neither part of Dudley M.B.C. or the Arts Council England, although we do work very closely with Dudley M.B.C. on partnerships.

We work in collaboration with our members, colleges, venue managers and members of Dudley M.B.C. so that no member is disadvantaged, we run an equal opportunities organisation.
