Technical and fire officer

We are currently working in partnership with Dudley M.B.C. to train members who use borough halls.

This partnership allows members to put forward names to Dudley Arts Council for training and or assessment.

 The technical training is being bought from outside organisations who have vast experience in their field and assessment is being done by staff from Midlands Arts Centre, the fire training will be assessed by staff from Dudley M.B.C.

Members will be billed for any training undertaken.

 

Radio Frequencies

We are currently trying to find out more information on the sell off of radio frequencies by OFCOM for the government.

This will cause difficulties for anyone using radio mics whether licensed or otherwise, since it would appear to that there are going to be very few frequencies available for use by small groups who do not have multi million pounds available to purchase them.

Will try and keep you informed.

 

Child protection

A child protection policy for chaperones is now available from Dudley M.B.C. and a copy can be down loaded from this site.

  Also the necessary arrangements that will have to be introduced for the involvement of children on stage due to the new child legislation.
